This is Bandit.

My new puppy

Bandit is a 4-4.5 year old mix, was impounded by animal control after being found on the streets as a stray, his owner never stepped forward to claim him. Bandit was rather malnourished, his fur was matted, he had been sprayed by a skunk, he also had minor conjunctivitis and a urinary tract infection. Adopted him in March of 2010.

On Bandit's date of availability for adoption, I arrived as soon as the dog pound doors open, thankfully I was the only person out of the dozen others standing outside the doors awaiting the facility to become open.
