I apologize in advance if this offends or upsets anyone, that is not my intention; this journal is not meant to offend or upset anyone in any way, it is more so to enlighten by use of examples</sub>

These days, pit bull advocacy has taken a turn for the worst and only continues down a path of destruction, only harming the very dogs these advocates try desperately to defend with their own ignorance / lack of knowledge, and often childish behavior, insults and mistreatment of those that do not share the same views. These types of pit bull advocates just persistently dig themselves a deeper and deeper grave

Below are examples of who pit bulls have to count on these days, the kind of people they must rely on as their protectors, as their supporters and saviors, and it does not look so good. These are screen captures of several comments I stumbled across on DeviantART regarding pit bulls through dA stamps made by those many who felt the need to express either their good or their ill feelings towards this type of dog with the exception of the first comment listed below, which was made by an artist and also mindless pit bull "advocate" that took a photograph of their American Pit Bull Terrier to make a vague statement about breed-specific legislation - the photograph received a comment which simply linked to a news article about a presumed pit bull x Doberman Pinscher mutt attacking and inflicting injury onto four police officers, and as you can see by the first comment, this is how the artist reacted

For the security and respect of those who made these comments and to avoid any conflicts, I have blurred out their icons, usernames and signatures. In the end it really does not matter who said what anyway, what matters is the fact that these things were said in the first place

Anyway, these are the kind of people we have defending pit bulls, these are the kind of people who hold the very lives and future of these dogs in their hands

_{Blatantly promoting and encouraging myths about the American Pit Bull Terrier being a "nanny dog" and going as far as references the ATTS to back up their ridiculous claim; this commenter indirectly stated that the only sources must be positive sources in favor of their breed / type of choice, disregarding any opposing (or rather, not-so-positive) information that is put right in front of their eyes; they proceeded to mark my response to their comment as spam because they refused to accept the truth}


There you have it, these are the people that pit bulls are left to count on, as if negative publicity and myths could not hurt pit bulls enough, but today it is the average pit bull "advocate" that seems to be hurting them even more

Unfortunately, as seen in the comments above, this is atypical for the greater portion of pit bull advocates. The first comment listed is why I decided to gather screen captures of what many pit bull crazed people do and say, to share and to make a point about most of today's pit bull "advocates". A lot of what is said in these comments include lame and illogical arguments, petty insults, name calling and vicious threats to physically harm those who hate pit bulls, wishing injury / illness and even death onto said "haters", or just of incredibly stupid and outlandish, made-up "facts" about pit bulls used in their defense and singling out other breeds in effort to make pit bulls look like the greater good. Such "advocates" will say absolutely anything imaginable to defend the pit bull, from made-up garbage such as pit bulls once being used as babysitters (what, since when?!) to confidently stating that the Golden Retriever has a stronger psi / bite force than the American Pit Bull Terrier and thus is far more dangerous (I don't know how this rumor started but it's not even close to being accurate), these fanatics who make up the greater portion of pit bull advocates pull the wackiest junk out from deep within their rectums only to slap it into the faces of those who do not share similar views on pit bulls

As one pit bull fanatic would say, if you say you hate pit bulls... karma be coming for you!

I promise you guys, if and when I ever find the time and energy, there should be more comment screen captures to be added to this blog for all to see and understand
